Autotuner exclusive new protocol
BIG News from Autotuner!
We now have an exclusive new protocol available for Autotuner and Autotuner One that opens up genuine tuning access for Audi e tron, e tron GT, and Porsche Taycan first gen models.This update gives full read and write capability to Continental ASG1 ECUs via the OBD port. These units have been tightly restricted and control motors that are limited electronically much more than their hardware would imply. Once you can work with them properly, they respond incredibly well to performance optimisation.
Battery Management Systems constantly monitors power delivery, not allowing anything that pushes beyond the battery safe operating limits, so gains stay inside the car’s built in safeguards.
Commenting on this major update Simon White, VIEZU Technical Director said “We have been waiting for proper access to these ECUs for years. Hardware in these cars have lots of untapped potential, but without safe and reliable access there was no responsible way to release it. With this update, we can now do the job correctly with the BMS keeping everything in check”.
In simple terms, we can now release the performance these platforms were created for, while keeping everything fully BMS safe.
