1) What is the VIEZU File Service?
VIEZU File Service is a tuning file exchange service that helps you send original vehicle ECU files to VIEZU’s technical team, have the required modifications made, and receive a modified file back to write to the vehicle.
2) How does the file exchange process work?
The process is designed to be as simple as sending an email:
Read the vehicle ECU using your tuning tool of choice.
Complete the file submission form with the required tune.
Send the file to the VIEZU technical team.
The technical team makes the required modifications.

3) Will VIEZU train me on how to send and receive files?
Yes. VIEZU will fully train you on the file exchange process, including how to read and write vehicle files with your tuning tool.
5) What are Tuning Credits / Function Credits?
Your Portal account runs off of these credits; they will give you access to the services through the Portal.
Tuning Credits-The Price Break Down:
1 Credit ($200) — Single / one-off / emergency
2 Credits ($300) — Recommended small buy (save $50 per credit vs single)
5 Credits ($700) — Starter Pack ($140/credit)
10 Credits ($1,200) — Shop Pack ($120/credit)
15 Credits ($1,500) — Best Value ($100/credit)
30 Credits ($2,400) — Dealer Pack ($80/credit)
Quick upgrade tip: If you’re buying 1 credit, upgrading to 2 credits is only $100 more.
Function Credits: This Credit is applicable to single delete functions only on one specific car and if multiple deletions are requested a Tuning File Credit is required instead.
1 Function Credit – $75/ea (Single & One-Off Emergency)
5 Function Credits – $70/ea (Starter Pack)
10 Function Credits – $60/ea (BEST VALUE)
Credits are valid for 12 months and Function Credits cannot be exchanged for Tuning Credits.
6) When is the service available?
The service is available 7 days per week.
7) When is live technical support available?
Live support is available Monday to Friday 7am–9pm (BST) and 7am–1pm (BST) on Saturday and Sunday.
8) How do I get technical support?
You can submit a support ticket to the technical team, or telephone during opening hours to speak with one of the technical advisors.
9) How do I submit a support ticket?
Log in to the file portal.
Go to the menu bar and select the Support icon.
Create your ticket and add any relevant information.
You will receive a ticket number.
11) Is there a self-help knowledgebase?
Yes. There is a 24/7 knowledgebase you can search for frequently asked questions and other important industry news items.
12) What tuning solutions are available beyond a basic engine remap?
There are several solutions, including:
Gearbox / DSG / TCU tuning
Function management files (for certain function and fault-code related needs)
Economy / fuel-saving tuning (especially for commercial vehicles and fleets)

17) Do I need a specific tuning tool to use the service?
You can read the vehicle ECU using your tuning tool of choice, and VIEZU will train you on reading/writing vehicle files with your tool. Start by getting your Portal account set up, completing training on the file exchange process, and ensuring you have Tuning Credits or Function Credits on account so you’re ready to submit files.
