The Paramount Performance Jaguar F-Type Cold Air Intake system is suitable for both the V6 and the V8 Jaguar F-type of all years. Crucially and really importantly, the Paramount Performance system does not use metal pipe work. This is so important as over the years Paramount Performance have fitted and tested most air induction systems available for the Jaguar F-Type. In almost every case significant power losses have been seen. This is usually because the pipe work is metal. Which conducts heat under the bonnet and transfers it to the air passing through it. Hot air induction systems and warm intake air, kill performance. Losses of up to 25bhp have been seen in testing. These systems may look nice, but the truth is most air induction system’s available in fact don’t work.
